I'm a physician who has worked in gynecology and urogynecology for 25 years. I take great pride and joy in supporting women in their complex health journey.
 
I've had thousands of conversations over the years with women struggling through perimenopause and menopause. I'm also a mother, having my own experiences and challenges with my body. I understand what you are going through.
 
There are so many products on the market today claiming they will reduce stubborn belly fat, hot flashes, night sweats, and other menopause symptoms. So many women have come through the doors of my practice wanting a magic pill to fix their problems associated with perimenopause and menopause.
 
I'm here to tell you that those magic pills simply don't work.
Over the last 10 years, I have taken a more integrative approach with my patients. I've educated myself on alternative health medicine and believe in the value of combining the best of conventional science with a holistic view that encompasses a whole body approach to wellness, not only a hormonal approach. I have truly enjoyed this journey and finding ways to incorporate the use of supplements, nutrition, and movement into the discussions I have with my patients.

During my initial consultation with you, we will discuss your symptoms and what bothers you most. Every woman is different. Perimenopause and menopause symptoms are related to a particular hormone deficiency or imbalance. Hormone balancing includes dealing with your stress, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary glands. Part of hormonal balance also comes from weight loss.
 
Your lab work will help me to develop a therapy regimen that is customized to your body. Hormone therapy may be prescribed depending on which of your hormones are imbalanced. Visit our FAQs page to learn more about the hormones involved with menopause.
 
We will balance your hormones by giving back the ones that are deficient in your body. Hormone therapy is accompanied by proper nutrition and supplements, an active lifestyle, and emotional well-being. Typically, you will see improvements within four to six weeks.
